may we…

February 26, 2006

(For Lt. Cols. Lyell and Elaine Rader)

may we see Jesus
reflected on each face
may we see His mercy
and His eternal grace
reveal Yourself to us
as we seek Your face
reveal Your loving-kindness
and Your grace
as we take Your love
into this world of sin
may we be reflections
of Your glory, within
the world which surrounds us
with turmoil, pain and strife
desperately needs to know
God’s love and eternal life
it is for us to stand
to battle, and to fight
against weapons made not of man
powered not by human might
to bind the broken-hearted
to set the captive free
to help the helpless one
is our responsibility
may we reveal Jesus
reflected on our face
may we live out His mercy
and minister His grace

    Hey Mary!
This poem is REALLY nice. That’s our duty as Christians in a nutshell. That is really sweet.
